Many people struggle with weight loss because they get caught up in difficult fitness plans or diets that don’t offer lasting results, leading to frustration. Fortunately, the One & Done Workout offers a straightforward method to help you lose weight effectively. The best part? It only requires seven minutes of your day. By following the plan for just a week, you can start seeing results without spending hours at the gym.

The program, developed by Svelte Training, is available for $37 on OneAndDoneWorkouts.com. It includes a guide that helps you complete the workout in just seven minutes using minimal equipment, right from the comfort of your home. Each session involves one minute of intense effort, providing the benefits of a full workout in a short time.

The workout is called “The One And Done Workout” because it allows you to complete your exercise quickly and efficiently, burning calories, shedding fat, and building lean muscle without long gym sessions. Meredith Shirk, the creator, uses a method known as sprint interval training (SIT), which involves 20 seconds of high-intensity exercise followed by a short active rest. This approach maximizes workout efficiency in a short period.

Sprint interval training has been around for over a decade and is known for its effectiveness. A study by the American College of Sports Medicine in 2008 found that sprint training helps maintain body temperature better than traditional high-intensity training, preparing your body for more intense activity.

The One & Done Workout is based on high-intensity circuit training (HICT), which has been shown to increase strength, endurance, and VO2max, improving heart and lung health. It can also help reduce body fat, particularly subcutaneous fat, and may aid in reducing insulin resistance, potentially preventing type 2 diabetes.

However, due to the intense nature of HICT, individuals who are overweight, have joint or bone issues, or suffer from heart or blood pressure problems should consult a doctor before starting. Proper form and technique are crucial to avoid pain and injuries.

While HICT is a great way to enhance fitness, it may not be as effective as longer or more resistance-focused exercises for building endurance and strength specific to certain sports.
